I invite you to share with us whatever you like to Celebrate in December. Wear your most fun Holiday gear or pajamas - but be sure it is comfy for cuddling.
I know I am a little out of the mainstream, but I like to look back to the pagan Winter Solstice roots of most of the holidays we honor at this time. It is a time to celebrate the Coming Back of the Light from a time of darkness. December 21 will be the shortest day of the year and we will have about 9 hours of sunlight here in Salt Lake. Peoples have been celebrating the cycle of the seasons since ancient times: http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2002/12/1220_021220_solstice_2.html
Whether you are singing carols non-stop with tinsel in your hair as you do your Christmas shopping and baking, or you are dusting off your menorah or getting out the solstice candles and making honey mead, this season is a time of peace and good will to and for all of us. I would love to celebrate our differences and our similarities together in this time of Light Bringing.

Let's do a late afternoon cuddle party this time so those of you with kids can get the babysitter home at a decent time and we will also not be out so late in the cold. It gives us time to get home and get to bed for a full night's sleep so you will be energized for the long week ahead after your comfy cuddle experience.
I am always open to feedback. Let me know if this timing sounds good, or if you would rather have an evening cuddle as usual. If I hear from enough people, I will move the timing.
You are invited to bring food and treats to share. No alcohol, please.
Suggested donation $20. Thank you for supporting me with appropriate energy exchange. It really helps me to keep going with this work.
This location has thin carpet and chairs and tables. Please do bring your mats, blankets and pillows. Remove your shoes at the door. There are no steps, this space is ADA accessible.
