Toolkit Training Session

This post-conference training session presents a new toolkit which features both the Discussion Guide and Tribal Research Future Game. The guide includes four evidence-based modules featuring interactive exercises and group discussions, while the future game presents a scenario based game where tribal-academic partnerships face challenging decisions for the future. Attendees will learn how the pillars of governance, trust, and culture form the foundation of tribal-academic partnerships.

This training session will be presented by Yvette Roubideaux, M.D., MPH, Director of the National Congress of American Indians (NCAI) Policy Research Center, Julie Lucero, Ph.D., MPH, Assistant Professor in the School of Community Health Sciences at the University of Nevada, Reno, Amber Emerson, MPH, Coordinator for Evaluation and Research in the School of Community Health Sciences at the University of Nevada, Reno, and Gwynne Evans-Lomayesva, MPP, Researcher at the NCAI Policy Research Center.
