Event description
The Christi Center's annual Remembrance Service is a space to share cherished memories and remember loved ones during the holidays

About this Event

For each of The Christi Center’s 33 years, we have hosted a Remembrance Service during the holiday season. It’s a time where those who are grieving can come during the holiday season to share memories and honor their loved ones, find support, and heal.

While we won’t be able to gather in person this year, we do want to provide a comforting space for remembrance of your loved ones.

Welcome Hours

Join us at The Christi Center for outdoor Welcome Hours. Bring a small ornament that reminds you of your loved ones to hang on our outdoor Tree of Remembrance. Light a candle and say a socially distanced hello to staff and volunteers.(masks required)

Welcome Hours December 9th-12th | Wednesday-Saturday | 4-7pm nightly

2306 Hancock Drive, Austin, TX 78756

(Note for Georgetown group members: If you would like to hang an ornament but don't have plans to travel to Austin, Jimmy and Mary Shields would be happy to meet you in town and bring your ornament to the Center.)

Virtual Remembrance Service

Gather with us from the safety of your home, as we lift up our hearts in our virtual Remembrance Service with music and inspiration.

Sunday, December 13th| 5:30-6 pm|

All are welcome. Please invite anyone you know who is facing a difficult holiday season to join us for this free and interfaith event.
