Description

I've been afraid to do anything in this roiling and loud environment. So, I went away for a few days and just relaxed. I found joy in watching people nurture small children. I meditated and frolicked in the ocean. I took a break from Facebook, Twitter, etc. I did some heart connecting with my sweetie. And I napped on the beach.

It was good.

A lot opened up for me that I want to share with you:

The world needs people who stand for justice and compassion; who know that racism is real even though race is an illusion; who are willing to put their spiritual tools in the service of restoring wholeness.


In that vein, I invite you to join me on a 30 day challenge to "Hold Space amidst the Hate." We begin Sept. 1. I'm offering a free call that will explain why Holding Space is a Powerful Choice Right Now.

Simply commit to holding space for transformation 10 minutes or more each day. Join the community of Holders for a free weekly zoom videoconference call and our Facebook group if you like. Once you register here, I'll send you info on the weekly calls. Remeber that they are OPTIONAL.

As someone who I mentor said to me this morning, holding space for transformation gives us a chance to tend to our responses to outside triggers before reacting. This way we come from strength and heart when we say or do something.


What is holding space for transformation?
Setting the intention to be unconditional love and unconditional acceptance while standing on the ground of your values for justice, inclusion, or whatever they might be. I was taught this by Niyonu Spann.

How do you do it?
Put you feet on the ground.
Take a deep breath.
Roll your shoulders back
And just allow or ask your Trusted Source to send unconditional love and acceptance through you.
Then just focus on your breath.
You can do it sitting or standing. You can do it with your eyes closed or open. When your mind wanders, as it will, just put your attention on your breath. Notice it closely, the way it feels coming into your nostrils. Feel your feet connected to the earth.

When do you do it?
First thing i the morning or before you go to bed as a habit but whenever you prefer. Most important thing is to do it.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

No age minimum or maximum. Please invite your children to hold space with you.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

This event takes place wherever you are. No need to drive or travel. It's virtual. The address listed above is a mailing address in case you need it. Also because Facebook requires a physical address.

What can I bring into the event?

Bring your spiritual practices and your courageous heart. You can also bring your grief and your anger.

What's the refund policy?

Holding Space Amidst the Hate is free. If you want to take my group coaching class, then you gotta pay. For that you can get a refund up to one week before Sept. 6.
