"Hold Me Tight" 2-Day Marriage Workshop

Friday, March 4, 6pm to 9pm and Saturday, March 5, 9am to 5pm.
This couples workshop is for committed couples who want to enhance their relationship. The program is designed around eight separate sessions to encourage partners to increase their level of emotional safety and connection through private conversations and exercises, video of real couples, and specific instructions from trained and qualified presenters.
There is great emphasis on privacy, comfort, and confidentiality. Further, although we encourage questions and comments, you will not be expected to participate in group discussions. All of the conversations and exercises will be done with your partner privately. All couples regardless of religion, relationship length or relationship status are welcomed.
Jeremy S. Boden, PhD
Dr. Jeremy Boden is an associate professor at Utah Valley University where he teaches courses in marriage and relationships, family dynamics, marriage and family therapy, and human sexuality. Jeremy is also a marriage and family therapist at the Provo Center for Couples and Families where he specializes in couples, sex therapy, premarital counseling, and pornography addictions. Jeremy has completed an extensive training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and on his way towards certification. He is married to his wonderful wife Daria and they have four children. Jeremy is an active member of the LDS faith.
H. Wallace Goddard, PhD
Dr. Wally Goddard is a nationally acclaimed marriage and family educator. Wally Goddard was a Professor of Family Life for the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service where he developped programs on personal well-being, marriage, and parenting. He is well known for his many creative family programs, including The Marriage Garden and The Parenting Journey.Wally has authored or co-authored several books including Between Parent and Child, The Soft-Spoken Parent, and Drawing Heaven into Your Marriage. He discusses new ideas at his blog www.DrWally.org. He has been recognized by his colleagues by being granted fellow status by the National Council on Family Relations and given the Career Achievement Award by the national association of family life specialists.Wally and his wife, Nancy, have three adult children, nine grandchildren, and have cared for twenty foster children over their 36 years of marriage. Wally describes Nancy as the finest human being he has ever known.
Lunch on Saturday is included.
