In this month’s installment of WonderWorks’ Holacracy Webinars, Anna McGrath of WonderWorks is hosting a conversation with Alexis Gonzales-Black of Zappos.

In late 2013 Zappos decided to start implementing Holacracy as its organizational model. Since then Alexis has been a pivotal agent in leading the company-wide transition to Holacracy.

It has now been almost a year since Zappos started implementing Holacracy. Anna and Alexis will explore an inside view of what the first year of a Holacracy implementation involves. We will hear directly from Alexis as she identifies some key learnings and insights of what showed up during the first year of implementing Holacracy, including such topics as what went really well and what didn’t go so well. This exploration will also uncover the mutual and yet differentiated relationship between an organization’s culture and structure.

  • What have been the biggest challenges with implementing Holacracy at Zappos?

  • How does Holacracy help support, integrate, and balance diversity and different perspectives?

  • Has Holacracy impacted the culture at Zappos?

  • Holacracy has a bias towards action, aka: getting things done. How does this show up at Zappos?

  • What is happening right now at Zappos with the stabilization of Holacracy in the system?

Join us October 29th for this opportunity to hear about Holacracy from the inside track of one of the biggest implementations to date. There will be lots of time for Q&A.

This free one hour Holacracy webinar introduces some of the core principles, structure, and practices used in Holacracy, however is intended for audiences who already have a basic understanding of Holacracy.  To get up to speed prior to the webinar check out our Holacracy Resource Page. Through real-world stories and interactive Q&A we will explore a more in-depth understanding of the nuances of implementing Holacracy. Join us for a whirlwind tour of this compelling new social technology for organizations, and leave with a new vision for what's possible.

This event will begin at 12:00 pm PDT (United States). [2:00 pm CDT / 3:00 pm EDT]

You'll receive attendance information to tune in virtually to the audio and video of this webinar, how you can submit questions, and a reminder email 24 hours prior to the event.
