Event Details

Part 1 (8:30 am- 12:00 pm) Introductory seminar on hoarding will address the criteria for a diagnosis of hoarding disorder, what and why people hoard, and the distress that is caused by compulsive hoarding.  

3.0 CEUs (clinical) are provided to social workers, case managers, and nurses.

Part 2 (12:00 pm-3:30 pm) session on hoarding will explore intervention strategies and treatment options.  Participants will explore ethical considerations when balancing the individual’s right to self-determination with concern for public health and safety.

3.0 CEU's (ethics) are provided to social workers, case managers, and nurses

*** It is highly recommended that Part 1 be completed before registering for Part 2.
