Hoarding - An Extreme Claim Situation examines hoarding and its impact on insurance claims.  Students will develop the necessary skills to identify when and to what degree hoarding is occurring.  In addition, students will learn how to work with a hoarder during the claim process as well as understand the savings when a professional restorer who specializes in hoarding is used.

David Miller, from ServiceMaster by Park-Ellis, is the organizer for this event.  His experience and knowledge of restoration processes and procedures along with his dedication to assist those affected by castastrophes and every-day perils makes him a perfect fit for educating the insurance industry.


Paul Cousineau, from CRDN of Michigan and Northwest Ohio, is an international trainer and educator who brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and entertainment to every class he instructs.  He is the Vice President of CRDN of Michigan andNorthwest Ohio, the model organization for the Certified Restoration Drycleaning Network, an international network of Textile Restoration
specialists.  He has been a key member of the organization both in the U.S. and the United Kingdom for over a decade, and his Master Level knowledge in removing contaminants from textiles affected by fire, smoke, water and other perils along with his experience in educating the insurance
industry provides students with an instructor who not only can teach, but also understands all aspects related to insurance.
