Event description
The Black Student Union of Holy Names University is proud to announce the 12th annual Celebrating Our Legacy of Rhythm Showcase!

About this Event

C.O.L.O.R began as a private schoolwide showcase that highlighted the skillsets of our peers. We immediately realized our small campus hosted many venerable talents including but not limited to poets, rappers, singers, dancers, and musicians. We knew we had something special and wanted the greater community to join us. We are proud to say our showcase has grown to regularly include perfoming artists and businesses from our Oakland community. The first year we opened C.O.L.O.R to the public we were met with overwhelming support, with that we are excited to announce this years 12th annual showcase!

This year will be like none other as we plan to commend our history of resilience with scholarships to support our future. All proceeds raised from this event will go toward supporting existing and prospective student of Holy Names University. Oakland is our home and we expect to see the same love this great city has shown us in past years. Please help us reach our goals by joining the Black Student Union of Holy Names University, Thursday February 20th at 6PM. We hope to see you there!

There will be food, art, apparel and more available to purchase from a plethora of artisanal vendors.

"There is never time in the future in which we will work out our salvation. The challenge is in the moment; the time is always now."
