Description

If you would like to be a sponsor for this social charity event, you can purchase an ad that will be placed in the event magazine. The magazines will be available for all HMST guests and they will be able to keep the magazines.

Hunger in America is truly a growing epidemic. According to the hunger and poverty facts and statistics, in 2014 Alabama was ranked 16.8 percent, which is over U.S. national rate of 14.3 percent for higher household food insecurity rates. So we may have thought lightly about the hunger epidemic, but reality hits when it’s knocking at our front door. This is why JOCE Productions wants to lighten the spirts of others with a social gathering to not only have a good time, but also help others by donating can goods and nonperishable items to a local food bank.

JoCe Productions is hosting the 3rd Annual Social Charity Event called Homemade Sweet Treats (HMST) on December 9, 2017 at the Hilton Garden Inn. Sponsors are needed to make this event even better than last year! At this Christmas-themed event, Homemade Sweet Treats guests will be asked to bring a dessert for sharing and a can good for giving. There will a homemade dessert contest (that will need prizes for the 3 winners) and drawings for giveaways for all guests. All the can goods and nonperishable items will be donated to a local food bank.

We would like to invite your business to support our efforts in helping our community fill the meal gap. The total cost of this event is $1000. A portion of what you financially donate will go towards purchasing can goods to reach our donation goal of 500lbs or 500 can goods. Everyone can donate can goods starting June 1, 2017 until the event. There is will a Top Donor Award separate from sponsoring the event.

By participating as a sponsor you would be contributing to bringing people together and helping your community. Your efforts will be recognized through an ad in the magazines that will be given to event attendees to take home. Please refer to the ad prices to select the best option for your business.

AD INFORMATION AND DETAILS

To have your name listed in a free space, 14” font, with no picture, logo, or design is $25.

Ad design and measurement assistance is offered for an additional charge starting at $10 and is not included in your ad price. Please call Joann Ceasar at (334)559-4220 if this service is needed.

Please make money orders and checks payable to Joann Ceasar. Ads can be purchased online at www.hmstsocialcharityeventsponsors.eventbrite.com. Once you purchase your ad on Eventbrite.com, you will receive ticket, which is your receipt. All ad information such as your ad, business name and services must be provided at the time of payment unless assistance is requested from Joann Ceasar. Ads can be emailed to hmstevent@gmail.com, with the subject line EVENT SPONSOR. Ten percent of all monetary donations will go towards the purchase of can goods and nonperishable items that will be donated to the East Alabama Food Bank. This will also contribute to the overall event goal of 500 can goods or 500 pounds.

A total value of gift certificates/donated products and monetary donations will be used to purchase an ad at the discretion of Joann Ceasar. Those who donate a gift certificate to the event will have an opportunity (not required) to present the item at the event along with a small one minute speech on the services they provide. The donated gift certificate/product will be won through a drawing for event attendees. Only those who have purchased an ad of $75 or more (monetary only) will not be expected to bring a can good nor a dessert for entry into the event. However, any guests you bring with you will be expected to bring a can good and a dessert for free admission into the event.

Ads must be purchased no later than October 31, 2017 to be included in the magazine. Your ad purchase also includes your company/services displayed on the projector during the event.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

The minimum age to attend this event is 18 years of age.

What can I bring into the event?

Unless you purchase an ad of $75 or more, you are required to bring a can good and a dessert for free admission. This also includes your guests. Everyone that attends the event is required to bring a can good and a dessert for free admission into the event.

What's the refund policy?

No refunds will be issued.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You may bring your ticket to the event if you would like, however; your purchase will be recorded with the event registration desk.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

No.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Because you may be using your business name or inidividual name, the ticket does not have to match. However, the event registration desk will have the information needed to determine if you are eligible for free admission.
