The audio future festival - LIVE from Los Angeles!
The first and only un-conference built to spark innovation in the audio entertainment and information space.
Media strategist and researcher Mark Ramsey and Jaime Solis gather a "hive" of smart people and amazing speakers to see, discuss, and develop big ideas and rising trends in on-demand, radio, content, social, mobile, and technology that will shake up all audio entertainment and information platforms.

What time does hivio begin?
On Thursday, June 4, doors open at Noon for light snacks and we begin promptly at 1pm. Plan to have lunch before the event.
We wrap on Thursday at 5pm.
On Friday, June 5, doors open at 8am for light breakfast and we begin promptly at 9am. We finish at 1pm and provide lunch then as part of the program.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
We will have COMPLIMENTARY parking valet services available to you at the venue. Only street parking is available in the immediate area, so your best bet is to use the valet or take a taxi or UBER from a nearby hotel.

What should I bring to the event?
Bring your laptop of mobile device of choice! We will have a number of power strips for you to plug into. We will have Wifi in the room, but it's likely to be of variable quality, given the number of attendees. So bring your own hotspot if you like. There will be tables for you to use.
What should I wear?
Whatever you want. I'll be casual.
Will there be breakfast and lunch?
On Thursday, there will be light snacks only. So eat lunch before you arrive.
On Friday, we will set you up with a light breakfast and a full lunch.
Will there be coffee, tea, and sodas?
Yes.
Will there be networking opportunities?
Yes, lots. Especially during the closing lunch.
There is no scheduled event on Thursday evening after the day's events. You are welcome to make your own arrangements with other attendees.
If something comes up, can I get my money back?
There will be no refunds but you are able to transfer your ticket to somebody else in a pinch.
Can I bring anyone else with me to hivio?
There will be tickets available at the door, however that's only if the event doesn't sell out.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No. But you should bring ID since we will be checking you in at the door.
What's this I hear about live video streaming?
The whole event will be live-streamed. We will have a video crew present all day long. By your attendance at hivio you acknowledge that your presence gives us permission to use your image in any video or photo content produced at the event.
What can I share about hivio via social media?

Are there any refunds on ticket purchases?
There are no refunds. All purchases are final. However you can transfer a purchase to someone else if you like.
