With thousands of Minnesotans living with HIV and hundreds of new cases a year, the HIV/AIDS community does not get the funding or attention it needs from our state government.

Join us and other activists from across the state to make HIV a priority in our state legislature! We’ll hear from community leaders, meet with legislators, and rally at the Capitol. There is a long history of successful advocacy when it comes to HIV awareness, treatment, and prevention. HIV on the Hill is an opportunity to continue this progress and keep moving forward in the fight to end HIV.

We hope to see you there. Please share and spread the word with your friends, family, and colleagues!

This event is free and open to the public, but we do need you to register. You do not need to attend the entire event.

AGENDA:

8:30-9:00 Check-in opens

9:00-11:00 Community leaders will share important information on legislative items we are lobbying on, training on how to have a conversation with your legislators, and connecting with others in your district and other folks in the community

11:15-12:00: Rally in the Rotunda

12:00-2:00: Lunch

12-4: Meetings with your personal state representative and state senator

We are very excited to take action at the Capitol and can't wait to see you there!
