A talanoa focused on ‘The History of Activism in Tāmaki Makaurau’. This free event will be hosted at Samoa House Library on Karangahape Road and is open to the public. Featuring a panel of speakers from different political movements both past & present.
Our speakers include Kathryn Ngapo (Ngāti Paoa/Protect Pūtiki) and Rev. Mua Strickson-Pua, with one other speaker possibly TBC. Facilitated by Brooke Fiafia Pao Stanley (AAAP spokesperson).
This is part one of a six-part political education & community building series facilitated by ‘The Nikau Project’ in association with Samoa House Library.
