Bundle up and go on a history hunt! Families will follow a scavenger hunt worksheet and find some historical treasures in White Ranch Park. Drop by anytime from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm to participate at your own pace. Successful history hunters will get a prize.

Dress warm! Wear sturdy shoes/boots and prepare for a winter program. Hats, gloves, scarfs, and warm coats are a must!
You will meet the educator at the West Trailhead of White Ranch Park.
Please leave pets at home.
Let's play and learn outside! Our programs go rain, snow, or shine! So, dress accordingly. We will cancel the program if the weather is hazardous or unsafe. If a program is canceled we will send an e-mail and/or call each registered participant. You can also check the event listing. We usually make the call to cancel within 24 hours of the program.

Jefferson County Open Space was founded as a land conservation organization in 1972. Its mission is to preserve land, protect park and natural resources, as well as provide healthy nature-based experiences. Funded with a one-half of one percent sales tax, the agency contributes to city and recreation district projects and manages 44,613 acres, 28 regional parks, and 230 miles of trails in Jefferson County, Colorado.
