Event description

Description

Join Greenbelt Alliance for a history hike on the Bay Trail, beginning at Richmond’s historic Municipal Natatorium and ending aboard the SS Red Oak Victory, where we'll enjoy a hearty brunch on deck with fine views of San Francisco across the Bay.

Our route includes Keller Beach at Ferry Point, where Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe's first train arrived from Chicago in 1900, and the former Kaiser Shipyard 3, part of Rosie the Riveter/WWII Home Front National Historical Park. We’ll shuttle cars to the ship so that everyone may return on their own schedule.
