Share History Book Club

Love history? Love reading about it? Does meeting and discussing books with people of similar interests sound like a great way to spend an hour or two? Then come to Lancaster Public Library’s History Book Club. The titles selected will be written by eminent historians and will also be eminently readable. They can cover any country or era. You will help decide future selections. The History Book Club meets the first Wednesday of the month at 6pm.

September 6th Spain in Our Hearts by Adam Hochschild

October 4th The Oil Kings: How the U.S., Iran, and Saudi Arabia Changed the Balance of Power in the Middle East by Andrew Scott Cooper

November 1st Guns, Germs and Steel by Jared Diamond

December 6th Peoples History of the US by Howard Zinn
