Dr. Roli Khattri is an Immunologist by training with over 21 years of experience at various biotech companies such as Celltech, Genentech and Celgene (now BMS). She is currently at Vividion where she is a Director and the Head of Immunology. She received her Ph.D. from Rosalind Franklin University of Health Sciences, Chicago followed by a postdoctoral training with Dr. Jeff Bluestone at the University of Chicago. She has extensive experience in biologics as well as small molecule drug discovery for autoimmune indications and Immuno-oncology. She recently organized an Immunology course for non-Immunologists at Vividion and as part of the lecture series provided insight into history, preclinical discovery and clinical trial data of Pfizer and Moderna vaccines for SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19 virus). In her talk, she will be sharing those insights along with the more recent Johnson and Johnson vaccine data as well as our current understanding of immunity to the new COVID variants.
