Featuring Dr. Nan Enstad, Ph.D., Robinson Edwards Professor of History, University of Wisconsin - Madison

Club members and their guests are invited to attend the next program in the Madison Club History and Cultural Experience Series. Dr. Nan Enstad will present her thoughts on what has changed for women since the 1964 Civil Rights Act. In providing her overview of the changes affecting women in the past 55 years, she will discuss, among other things, why some problems seem resistant to change and the connection between women’s issues and race issues. Dr. Enstad is an affiliate of the Gender and Women’s Studies Department and the Afro-American Studies Department at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, and she is the current Director of the University of Wisconsin Food Studies Network.

Event registration is open to all Madison Club members and their guests. Event price is $50 per person and includes dinner.
