Photos may be taken for personal use only.

NOTE: Unfortunately, the tunnel portal is not accessible for participants to 'go in the tunnel.' The tunnel was restored in the late 1990's and caved in 10 feet back from the entrance in 2008. Most unfortante, the recent winter we experienced led to another cave in about 12 feet back. Help the Comstock Foundation raise money to restore the tunnel! Current restoration work is being lead by the Comstock Foundation for History & Culture to preserve this engineering achievement that contributed to the Legacy of a Nation. Contact info@comstockfoundation.org to learn how YOU can help preserve this amazing historic site.
