About this event
Celebrate the first day of spring by exploring the neighborhood around the Mount Vernon Hotel Museum. Hear about the people and places that were there in the 19th century when the area was primarily countryside. Through stories, maps, and images you will be transported back in time and gain a new understanding of life in this part of Manhattan in the 1800s. Tour stops will also focus on what led to the evolution of this neighborhood from rural to urban.
Tours will be limited to 6 people to ensure social distancing. Masks are required.
Free for Museum Members; $10 for non-members.
