Advance Ticket Sales: Through April 16. Full advance tickets $30. Send check payable to HGW-Charlottesville with a self addressed, stamped envelope and include an email or phone number to Mrs. Irene Soderquist, 530 Explorer Road, Charlottesville, VA 22911. Tickets available by check only at the following locations from March 1 until 5 p.m. on April 21: Boar’s Head Inn, Caspari, Crème de la Crème, Lloyd’s Hallmark Card and Gift Shop, The Shade Shop and Kenny Ball Antiques, The Virginia Shop and Ferguson Bath, Kitchen and Lighting Gallery, all in Charlottesville. Trailside Coffee in Crozet and S.H. Merrick Fashions in Gordonsville.
 
Luncheon: Box lunches will be available by reservation only at Grace Episcopal Church from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Please send a check for $15 per person payable to Grace Episcopal Church, Attention: HGW Luncheon, P.O. Box 43, Keswick, VA 22947. Please specify Sunday or Monday. Payment must be received by April 13.

Admission fee: $40 at the door.
 
Special Event Information: The house and gardens of Morven, a charter property opened for the first Historic Garden Week in 1929, will be open on Saturday, April 21 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in support of Historic Garden Week. Tickets are $15 per person, non-refundable and reservations must be received by April 9. Please send check made payable to HGW-Charlottesville, Attention: Polly Talbott, 219 Montvue Drive, Charlottesville, VA 22901. Tour day admission available for $20. Rain cancels tour.
 
The Pavilion Gardens on the West Lawn of The University of Virginia will be open Tuesday, April 24. The Garden Club of Virginia restored the gardens and surrounding serpentine wall beginning in 1947. Work in the gardens continues to be supported with proceeds from Historic Garden Week. Special tours at 10 a.m. and at 1 p.m. begin at the steps of the Rotunda facing the Lawn. Admission is free.
 
Monticello, another restoration site of the Garden Club of Virginia, is hosting a variety of special programs in conjunction with Historic Garden Week including an extensive two-hour tour of Thomas Jefferson’s vegetable and fruit gardens on April 21 and 22 starting at 9 a.m., a book launch by Peter Hatch, Monticello’s director of gardens and grounds, on April 23 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and lectures on April 24 at 10 a.m. and at 2 p.m. Call (434) 984-9880 or visit www.monticello.org/gardenweek for more information and any applicable fees and reservations required.
