DRUID HILLS COMMEMORATES OLMSTED'S BIRTHDAY
Our annual home tour returns after a 2 year hiatus as part of a coordinated national celebration, Olmsted 200! The Druid Hills neighborhood, including the linear park along Ponce de Leon Ave, was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted. The homes on this year's tour are all situated on streets that can be seen on Olmsted's original plan for Druid Hills, all close to Olmsted Linear Park. The map below highlights the park in green and the tour route in blue.

TICKET TYPES
Our tour is the Druid Hills Civic Association's largest fundraiser of the year. The money we raise helps the DHCA support our local parks & green space, provide grants to neighborhood schools and other local non-profits, host or sponsor community events, provide great communication with our neighbors, and much more.
Each and every ticket purchase helps fund the DHCA. Tour sponsorship by individuals, our Friends and Patrons, offset the cost of the tour, helping us do much more as an organization.
- CLOSED FOR 2022 - Friend Level Sponsorship ($250) includes 2 tour tickets and 1 ticket to the Olmsted 200th Birthday Gala at Callanwolde
- CLOSED FOR 2022 - Patron Level Sponsorship ($500) includes 4 tour tickets and 2 tickets to the Olmsted 200th Birthday Gala at Callanwolde
INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEERING?
Volunteering really is a great way to meet and get to know other Druid Hills neighbors. From being a docent for one or two shifts to helping with planning out the tour, we are in need of volunteers to make sure this fantastic event goes as smoothly as possible.
Each home on our tour has several docents, which help guide visitors through the home. One person is stationed at each area of interest, and provides tour-goers with interesting facts about what they are seeing on the tour. Sign up for a morning or afternoon shift by yourself, with a friend, or with your favorite organization!
Join us on the Druid Hills Tour Committee!
As we approach the last few weeks of the tour, we need volunteers to help with logistics and operations, hospitality, and volunteer recruitment.
If you are interested in helping us fill a committee role, please reach out to Kit Eisterhold to sign up or for more information. We will be thrilled to have you!
