Event description

Description

Saludos, You are invited to join a complimentary discussion on the importance of HISPANIC ENTREPRENUERSHIP, WORKFORCE and HIGHER EDUCATION on Wednesday, September 18 from 8:00-10:00AM hosted by the University of Phoenix - Bay Area Campus and California Diversity Council.

When a company's workforce is diverse, it is more innovative and impactful!

This roundtable discussion will center on the importance of education pathways to close the equity gap in the Silicon Valley and identify why companies, in the region, overwhelmingly lack actionable, Latino-centered insights to decipher the drivers and barriers faced by Hispanic employees, candidates and entrepreneurs. Ask questions, network and connect!

Panelists include:

  • Alfredo Mathew: Director of Strategic Partners - Entrepreneur / Earn & Learn
  • Alysa Cisneros: Senior Associate / Silicon Valley Leadership Group
  • Laura Perez Ehrheart: Chief Executive Officer / Epiphany Consulting Solution
  • Yanira Guzman: Project Management Professional / IBM

A continental breakfast will be included.

All members of the community are invited to attend. We look forward to seeing you there.
