"More Stories, a Greater Contribution to America's Future"
This is HISPA’s first role model recruiting event in New York City, which focuses on introducing HISPA’s concept in how mobilizing Latino professionals to share their life stories with middle school students inspires them in pursuing higher education.
Current HISPA Role Models will share their experience and how their volunteerism has impacted them on a personal level. Together we will celebrate our commitment to our youth!

About the Speakers:
President of Global Brand Management (GBM)
Ogilvy and Mather
As the President of Global Brand Management at Ogilvy & Mather, Jaime oversees the performance of the company’s 25 largest multinational clients across all disciplines and regions. In this role, he leads a group of global managing directors in ensuring Ogilvy’s blue chip global clients have the partnership and delivery they need to grow their business and brands around the world. His primary client responsibility is Kimberly-Clark.
Jaime has been with WPP for over 20 years and has lived and worked in the US, Latin America, Asia, and Europe, bringing a practical, on the ground experience and perspective to global client leadership. He rejoined Ogilvy, where he worked from 1989 to 2006, in July 2011 from Y&R where he was President and CEO of the EMEA region. He is a member of the Ogilvy & Mather ExCo and Worldwide Board.
Jaime was born in Colombia, and lives in New York City where he grew up and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Columbia University.
Carlos Ojeda Jr.
President & CEO
He has been called one of the most dynamic speakers under 40 in America. Over the course of his career he has traveled all across the country and has spoken to tens of thousands of students and education professionals, sharing his message of educational empowerment. He received his bachelor's degree in Business Management with a Minor in Marketing and a Minor in Law from Bloomsburg University, his Master's in Business Administration with a focus in business development, entrepreneurship and organization development from Kutztown University.
