Everyone’s talking about hiring veterans. In fact, more than 1,000 companies have signed on to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce “Hiring Our Heroes” initiative. If your company feels the commitment to hire veterans, it now falls to learning leaders to ensure that these valuable new team members are deployed as fully and effectively as possible. If your employee development strategy does not recognize the important assets and needs of veterans, you risk losing the benefits they bring. Led by one of the foremost experts in veteran transition from military active duty to civilian careers, this webinar covers what you need to know and things you can do today to develop veterans in your organization.

Chad Storlie
Lieutenant Colonel
U.S. Army Special Forces (Retired)

Chad Storlie is a retired U.S. Army Reserve Special Forces officer with more than 20 years of service in Iraq, Bosnia, Korea and the United States. He was awarded the Bronze Star, the Combat Infantryman's Badge, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Special Forces Tab and the Ranger Tab. Today Storlie is a marketing executive in the civilian sector, so he knows firsthand about the military-to-civilian transition.

Author of Combat Leader to Corporate Leader, Storlie is also published in the Harvard Business Review blog, and the Oxford Leadership Journal. He has been featured in Business Week, the New York Post and the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
