The Hiring Coach
Hiring Coach, founded by Laura Renner, helps business owners make smart hiring decisions by making the hiring process easy. Through recruiting for them or consulting on their hiring processes, Laura and her team ensures business owners are on their way to having a strong team with a great culture.
Laura previously led the recruitment team of a government contractor airline where they hired nearly 500 people a year with a small team and no recruitment software. Using her experiences there and the proven VASE process, she helps business owners save time, money, energy and productivity by going through the hiring process strategically.
Laura graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy with a bachelor's of science in English literature and a minor in Chinese-Mandarin. She served as a Public Affairs officer before leaving the Air Force to earn an International MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Laura has worked for nearly fifteen years dealing directly with people, whether in public relations, foreign relations, education or human resources.
