HIP is a HUD-approved Housing Counseling agency.
Our in-person 8-hour Homebuyer seminar is held on Saturdays, but is suspended until further notice due to the coronavirus pandemic. Therefore, we are taking the homebuyer education workshop virtual on Zoom.
The fee for the virtual class is $30 per person. Each participant must register in advance, and a certificate of completion will be provided at the end of the class.
You will learn about:
- Affordable mortgage loans.
- How your credit will affect your monthly payments.
- How to select your team: Realtors, Loan Officers, Home Inspectors, Insurance Agents.
- Understanding what you are signing (and paying for) at closing.
- Resources available for downpayment and closing cost assistance.
