Hip-Hop History for Teens: MCing with Hired Gun

Hired Gun will lead the MCing workshop entitled, The Art of Rhyme, which seeks to demystify the skill known to hip-hop aficionados as "freestyling," which refers to the act of rapping in a freewheeling, improvised fashion without the use of a pre-written-and-memorized "rhyme," or verse. The art of rhyme imparts knowledge of the history and philosophy behind hip hop culture and free-styling. Hired Gun is a hip hop emcee and U.S. Music Ambassador who will not only give you the story of hip hop, but teach you how to freestyle live in the workshop!  Check out more about Hired Gun at www.freshrootsmusic.com
