Description

The Hosting Improvising Performers Festival (HIP Fest) is an annual meeting of prominent national and international musical improvisers and the New Orleans improvised music community. This event is hosted and organized by New Orleans non-profit NOISE.

HIP FEST will be $10 at the door and is open to all ages.The event will feature performances from visiting musicians Tim Berne, and Jason Adasiewicz, with one guest still to be announced. There will also be performances from local musicians Aurora Nealand, Chris Alford, Paul Thibodeaux, Joe Cabral, Rick Trolsen, Doug Garrison, Matt Booth, and Rob Cambre, as well as HIP Fest founders Jeff Albert and Marcello Benetti.
