Hintzsche's 5K Challenge
Sat, May 20, 2017, 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM CDT
Lauren Hintzsche will be retiring at the end of the 2016/2017 school year. Her first six years of teaching were spent at Hinckley-Big Rock High School #429 . Since then, Lauren has been a teacher in Rochelle Elementary District #231 for the last 27 years in addition to being a founder of the local AYSO. Her passion for education and being fit has been evident both in and out of the classroom. In honor of her passion for fitness, running and philanthropy, we felt a 5K Run would be most fitting. Lauren has chosen the David Crawford Foundation as the recipient of all the proceeds. The David Crawford Foundation was established to provide teachers in the Rochelle Elementary District monetary help for classroom projects. We, as a committee, are issuing a challenge to all community members, past and present students, school staff, friends and family to participate in this non-competitive tribute to Mrs. Hintzsche’s retirement and her profound impact on the community’s overall health and wellness.
