The Mayor of Whitworth, Councillor Madeline De Souza, invites you to dust off your boots, chaps and cowboy hats and saddle up for a rootin’ tootin’ charity shindig in aid of the Mayor of Whitworth’s charity fund
on Saturday 22 October at the Riverside, Whitworth.
This promises to be a really fun evening for all the family, the bar watering hole will be open and there will be a hot cowboy hog roast, complete with corn, slaw, mac n’ cheese! Doors will open at 7pm and there is lots of cowboy fun planned including line dancing. Cowboy hats and boots encouraged.
Book tickets early to avoid the stampede! Tickets cost £20 per adult, £12 for under 12’s including hot buffet (small additional charge for tickets bought online). So come on y’all, mosey on down to book your tickets. Tickets are available from Whitworth Post Office, UBS and The Riverside while stocks last. Alternatively, give Melanie, the Town Clerk a holler on 01706 852018 or email email@example.com
All proceeds raised at the event will go towards the Mayor’s Charity Fund. At the end of the Mayor’s year in office next May, the funds will be distributed to charities and organisations supporting the Whitworth community. Her charity proceeds will also go towards Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis, a charity very close to her heart as Madeline’s late husband, Mike had this condition.
