The Mayor of Whitworth, Councillor Madeline De Souza, invites you to dust off your boots, chaps and cowboy hats and saddle up for a rootin’ tootin’ charity shindig in aid of the Mayor of Whitworth’s charity fund on Saturday 22 October at the Riverside, Whitworth.
This promises to be a really fun evening for all the family, the bar watering hole will be open and there will be a hot cowboy hog roast, complete with corn, slaw, jacket potato (vegetarian option also available)! Doors will open at 7pm and there is lots of cowboy fun planned including line dancing and Country and Western music. Cowboy hats and boots are encouraged.
Book tickets early to avoid the stampede! Tickets cost £20 per adult, £12 for under 12’s including hot buffet. So come on y’all, mosey on down to book your tickets. Tickets are available from Eventbrite and local outlets while stocks last.
All proceeds raised at the event will go towards the Mayor’s Charity Fund. This year the Mayor of Whitworth, Councillor Madeline De Souza will be supporting some of the wonderful groups and charities who do so much to make Whitworth the place it is. Her charity proceeds will also go towards Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis, a charity very close to her heart.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
There is a licensed bar and only atendee's over 18 years will be allowed to purchase alcohol. Children are permitted in the venue when accompanied by an adult.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
There is a large carpark at the venue. There are also several local taxi firms in Whitworth and the route is located on the 464 bus route.
