The rocky surface of the planet forms the skeleton around and over which plants and water find their way. In this workshop we will explore the various surfaces created by rocks, and how they fit together to form the bones for hills, mountains and cliffs. Bring a rock at least 4 inches in diameter, and be ready to explore the colors in your palette as you bring their subtle colors and powerful shapes to life. You will be given teaching aids that give you hands-on experience that simplify this challenging subject. **$55 kit fee required payable to instructor on the first day of class. Students who have taken Kristin's classes in the past may bring their own kits. No substitutions please.**

Instructed by Kristin Meuser
