Event Details

Ladies: It's time to clear out that closet and make room for something "newish"!

Join your neighbors and friends for a care free gathering as we raise money for Hillcrest Day during three hours of sipping and swapping.

How It Works:

1.  Each attendee brings 5 items and will leave with at least 5 items.  Purses count at 2 items.

2.  Childrens' items are accepted but do not count toward your 5 items.

In addition to swapping with other attendees, enjoy booths with items to purchase from local clothing vendors, makeovers from your friendly Mary Kay representative, food, and mimosas!

This event is inclusive of all shapes and sizes so please indicate the size range of your clothing when registering.

Remember: One woman's trash is another woman's treasure!

All proceeds will benefit the HCCA Hillcrest Day Celebration on Saturday, September 22, 2018.

Hillcrest Community Civic Association

The Hillcrest Community Civic Association, established in late 1989, invites all Hillcrest residents to join the association to promote the welfare of our neighborhood. Our purpose is simple--to voice our concerns to government officials, businesses, and residents to ensure the best possible living environment in Hillcrest. We address the District of Columbia services of police and fire protection; leaf and refuse collection, snow removal; and safety and traffic lights. We also promote the issues of education, health, housing, and beautification. We work in harmony with all agencies and organizations in Washington, D.C. for the purpose of effecting a better quality of life in our city.

Meetings are held the first Saturday of each month, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Hillcrest Community Center, 32nd and Denver St SE.
