Event description

Description

Enjoy a lavish High Tea served in the sumptuous rooms of historic Hynson Ringgold House, the riverfront home where George Washington actually slept and dined. Built circa 1743 for a wealthy merchant, the mansion is now the official residence of the president of Washington College. A violinist will serenade you as you enjoy fine teas and a substantial menu of sweet and savory treats, complete with a complementary glass of sherry.

There are two seatings for the tea, one at 1:00 and one at 3:00 p.m.

This event is offered as part of Main Street Chestertown's "Dickens of a Christmas" holiday weekend.

The SPECIAL TEA & HOUSE TOUR COMBINATION PACKAGE is SOLD OUT!
