High-Speed Photography with Arduino
Daily Event: 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM (EDT)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
What do you get when you mix an arduino, strobes, cameras and martinis? High-speed photography at it's best!
We will be doing unspeakable things with martinis and condiments. Our theme? (in our best James Bond accent) Martini, shaken, not stirred.
Bring your raincoat. There is a good chance that you will get splashed!
We will spend an hour going over everything involved with making an arduino timer. Then, we'll spend a couple of hours making fun photos. Any camera with manual focus, exposure and aperture will work. Some of the Canon powershot series can be hacked to do this as well. Bring your tripod, cable release and your... "Did you want that martini to go?" attitude...
We will be sharing our arduino/flash rig but you will also learn how to recreate it on your own!
Taught by Scott Carter. Explorer, Adventurer and Photographer, "Capn Scott" has done extensive underwater photography and supported photographers underwater, from National Geographic to Smithsonian Tropical.
