Description

Introduction to Ethical Hacking and Cyber Defense

This workshop will meet for 2 weeks to give current high school students an introduction to securing computers against cyber attack. The class meets 4:30-6:30pm Monday-Friday July 10-July 21.

Current 9th, 10th, and 11th graders are welcome to apply

This course is taught on-site at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory. It is not taught online.

How to Apply

Register on this website once for each potential student
(THIS DOES NOT GUARANTEE ACCEPTANCE)

Student must commit to attend 90% of classes.

Student must have a teacher email a short recommendation to Charles.Frick@jhuapl.edu by May 26, 2017.

Student selection and Class List will be announced June 2, 2017

There is a $20 activity fee for the course materials. Need-based financial aid is available.
