Description

This two-day workshop highlights instructional strategies for DCIs CHEM1.PS1.6, 7, 10, 12, 14, and CHEM1.PS2.1. The activities will help teachers implement science and engineering practices and cross cutting concepts with new TN chemistry standards. Teachers will use lab activities and escape rooms to help explain natural phenomena. The great news is that teachers will receive resources to implement these activities in their classrooms! If you have access to a computer, please bring it with you. Feel free to bring your favorite personal eye protection for the lab if desired. Participants will receive a $200 stipend.
