Pyramid of Arts' High Rise Programme provides creative opportunities for people with profound and multiple learning disabilities or communication needs resulting from sensory difficulties and autism. The groups focus on visual arts; music; movement and sensory experience.
In this latest collaboration between Pyramid and Leeds Lieder, baritone Philip Smith and pianist Jonathan Fisher will join Music and Movement sessions during the 2017 Spring term to explore a selection of songs chosen by the groups. In between their visits, the groups will work on their own responses to the songs through music, action and creating props and costumes. This performance brings everyone together to share the results.
High Rise is funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund.
