High Impact Business Presentations Masterclass
Thu, March 16, 2017, 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM GMT
Have you ever walked out of a business presentations thinking: “That could have gone so much better”? If you want to achieve better outcomes for your presentations, this masterclass is for you.
High Impact Business Presentations is a 1-day hands-on workshop for business professionals who need to deliver formal presentations at board level, informal presentations to brief a team or address any meeting as well as presenting their offering in B2B sales meetings.
One of the key benefits of the workshop is that you will be working on your important presentation in a very practical way. We’ve developed a simple formula that enables you to work on the content and structure of your presentation, but also practice it during the workshop.
We have limited the number of participants to a maximum of 6 to provide the maximum amount of individual attention, personalised feedback and time to practice for each and every individual.
We call it the 3Ds approach – Develop. Design. Deliver.
Develop. You learn to identify your key messages, develop a logical structure and use supporting data.
Design. You learn the techniques to produce effective slides.
Deliver. You practice. You receive feedback. You refine.
This is a step-by-step method, covering the following:
- How the brain works and how people process your presentation
- Questions you need to ask yourselves to prepare
- What is your key message
- What are your supporting points
- How to structure them
- Thinking like a CFO for board level presentations
- Thinking like a buyer for B2B sales presentations
- Different techniques for different personalities
- Make a strong opening
- Close effectively
- Handle questions strategically
- Manage objections / interruptions
- Effective use of visual aids
- Practice your delivery and receive feedback
By the end of the masterclass, you will have crafted the content and structure of your presentation and gained in impact and clarity. You will also have learnt a method to help you through future presentations.
Please bring a business presentations that you plan to deliver soon or that you have delivered recently.
Scratching out your ideas with a pen and paper is often best. So you will be working directly from a workbook. All you need is to bring a pen. Bringing a laptop is not a prerequisite but if you are working from an existing presentation and want to refer to your laptop or tablet, feel free to do so.
To allow me to customise the masterclass as much as I can, once you’ve registered, I will email you a few questions - such as do you most often need to influence upward, mobilise team’s support or sell ideas cross departments.
What to expect on the day
The workshop will start at 9.30am and finish at 4.30pm.
Please arrive at 9.15am to allow sufficient time for registration at the main reception.
There will be a 1 hour lunch break from 12.30pm to 1.30pm. Lunch is included in the price, as well as coffee, tea, water and fruit water throughout the day.
