Event description

Description

“Every soul needs to express itself. Every heart needs to crack itself open. Every one of us needs to move from anger to healing, from denial to consciousness, from boredom to renewal.” ― Alan A. Lew,

BU Hillel invites you to celebrate the High Holidays with us. Together, we will welcome in the Jewish new year with meaningful reflection, joyous song and prayer, and delicious food. Everyone is welcome. Come as you are. Our services are open to both the BU and outside community.

Tickets are valid for both Rosh Hashona and Yom Kippur services. To register for special holiday meals in our kosher dining hall, please click here.

  • Free tickets are available to any full-time Boston area University student.

  • Paid tickets are available to any non-students including parents, alumni, University faculty/staff, and community members.

  • Non-students under the age of 18 are free of charge, but must be registered with alongside a paid patron ticket or unpaid student ticket.

Orthodox services?

Rosh Hashona: Please email Rabbi Witt at yehudaw@bu.edu for services options.

Yom Kippur: Due to a special anonymous grant, there are a limited number of non-student tickets available at no cost for the Orthodox service only. To register for this service for free, please email yehudaw@bu.edu.

*PLEASE NOTE: All tickets must be brought in some form for display to the Hillel building when you arrive for services.
