Are you interested in winning $1.5 million to develop new technologies and grow your business? The Small Business Innovation and Research Program (SBIR) awards more than $2.5 Billion in funding to small businesses across the U.S. every year. Businesses that win SBIR funding do not give up ownership in their company and retain intellectual property rights to anything that is developed using SBIR funding. The Oklahoma Catalyst Programs, an office of the OU Tom Love Innovation Hub, guides Oklahoma small businesses through the SBIR program. Attend this workshop to learn from SBIR expert Tom Wavering, Executive Director of the Tom Love Innovation Hub at the University of Oklahoma.

This workshop will help entrepreneurs, small businesses and researchers:

  • Understand the SBIR program

  • Determine if SBIR is right for them

  • Learn tips for how to win SBIR funding

  • Discover resources that can help them through the SBIR program, including proposal writing, award management, and prototyping assistance
