High Desert Speaker Series PDX: Megan Creutzburg-Sagebrush & Climate Change
Mon, March 27, 2017, 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM PDT
Are you fascinated or frightened by future climate scenarios? Do you wonder what will happen to eastern Oregon's vast wild lands? Join us for an evening with researcher Megan Creutzburg from Oregon State University's Institute for Natural Resources to learn more about the unique sagebrush ecosystem and what changes we might expect in the future under climate change.
We'll discuss the uncertainty posed by a changing climate and explore how we may be able to use restoration to maintain resiliency in the sagebrush sea into the future.
Join us for an evening highlighting the best of your high desert.
The event will take place at Portland's First Congregational Church, 1126 SW Park Avenue in the Park Blocks. The event is free and open to the public. Space is limited. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. with the speaker beginning at 7 p.m. For more information about other speakers in this series, visit ONDA.org/HighDesertSeries
