Hidden History Tour
Sat, May 20, 2017, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM EDT
Pejepscot Historical Society's Hidden History Tour is a half-day community event featuring a self-guided tour of 12 sites in Brunswick, Topsham, and Harpswell not generally open to the public. Participants stop briefly at each site to see one or two special features, then move onto the next stop. Some sites can be accessed by walking from one to the next, but a car will be required for others.
Sites are revealed the morning of the event at 8AM at Pejepscot Historical Society, where participants receive maps to get stamped along the way (and scavenger hunts for children) and enjoy refreshments courtesy of Mr. Bagel. Tour stops will be open from 8AM-12:30PM. Participants with fully-stamped maps can return to PHS until 1PM to claim two free admission tickets to PHS's historic house museums, good for the 2017 season. Children who complete the scavenger hunt will win a prize. All ticket holders are also entered into a drawing for door prizes, which will be drawn at 1PM. Tour happens rain or shine.
In addition, PHS is offering a special on new memberships in conjunction with a ticket purchase: $5 off Individual Membership or $10 off Household Membership. You may choose the member ticket price if you are also purchasing a membership. Membership benefits are listed at http://pejepscothistorical.org/about-us/membership.
