About this event
Join us for the HiDALGO2 Clustering Event “HPC and Big Data Technologies Addressing Global Challenges”, a key gathering for professionals in high-performance computing (HPC) and AI.
This event will explore how high-performance computing (HPC), big data, and AI are driving solutions to some of the world’s most pressing environmental challenges.
The event will feature demonstrations of simulation models and digital twins for the HiDALGO2 use cases, focusing on:
- Urban air pollution
- Energy efficiency in buildings and cities
- Wildfire prediction and spread
- Renewable energy forecasting
- Water pollution
A keynote address exploring the future of technology advancements will be provided by Matteo Mascagni, Project Officer at the High Performance Computing and Quantum Technologies unit of the European Commission’s DG CONNECT.
Further, representatives of National Competency Centres for HPC will engage in a panel discussion exploring applications in member countries.
Meanwhile other HPC Centres of Excellence will host stands where they will showcase their achievements, share insights, and connect with new collaborators.
Spaces are limited, so make sure to register soon. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect and discuss the future of supercomputing and AI in Europe with leading research groups!
