HHAW Community Chat: Stability is Essential
Event Information
About this event
For Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week, we're hosting Community Chats to talk about what is "essential" to end homelessness in Orange County. Community Chats are virtual opportunities to hear from local experts about pertinent topics related to homelessness!
Our Stability is Essential Community Chat will be on Thursday, November 19th from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm. We'll be going in-depth about the supportive services people experiencing homelessness need to stay stably housed.
We will be joined by David Gillanders, the Executive Director of Pathways of Hope; Karyn Hay, Housing Stabilization Coordinator for Friendship Shelter, and Dr. Shay Sorrells, the Chief Program Officer for Orangewood Foundation.
When you register you will have the opportunity to submit questions about the topic that you’d like our guest speakers to answer. We will do our best to answer as many questions as possible, but we cannot guarantee that your questions will be answered during the event.
Attendees will be emailed the Zoom participation link the hour before the session begins. Registration will close the hour before the weekly chat session. If you miss the registration deadline, you can tune in to watch on our Facebook page.
We hope you can join us! -United to End Homelessness Team
