Starting in October of 2013 Medicare is dramatically changing the computation of Disproportionate Share Hospital (DSH) payments to hospitals.  In almost all cases this will result in a reduction in payments. This webinar will provide some fearless prognostications of how it will effect hospitals in Region 5.

After This Webinar You'll See How:

  • DSH payments have been         made to individual states and facilities on a historical basis.
  • Payments would be              allocated under the new system.
  • Individual states are              responding to the expansion of Medicaid.
  • Difficulties in              determining the allocation of DSH payments under the new formulas  could affect your facility.
