Description

Course Outline:

Introduction to Legionella: Recognition Prevention, Regulations and Compliance

Instructor: William A. Esposito, Dr. PH, CIH, LEED, AP

Course Objective:

Vitralogy and Ambient are proud to present this course designed to train and educate hospital engineers to qualify as the responsible person or to qualify as the qualified person as part of the Water Safety programs for domestic and process water systems.

A new regulation; Local Law 77 of 2015 mandates an owner must identify and assign an engineer on the building maintenance team as the “Responsible Person” charged with the implementation and maintenance of the Management Program and Plan. Until now, there has been no educational curriculum or program that provides formal training for this responsibility.

Vitralogy, in association with Dr. William Esposito, Dr. PH of Ambient Group, Inc.; have developed this course designed to educate hospital engineering staff in the fundamentals of Legionnaire’s disease outbreak prevention and regulation code compliance.
