Event description

Description

The "HerStory Unlocked" dialogues will engage with several different audiences within the Flint community. The sessions will target both members of the community who are impacted by the issues surrounding justice-involved youth as well as those who may be unaware of the issues, and will include community members with diversity in age, race, and socioeconomic background. The community dialogue will include community members and representatives of agencies that work with incarcerated youth.

Black Student Union in collaboration with other University of Michigan-Flint departments, and student led organizations and Michigan Humanities Council have sponsored the community dialogue at the University of Michigan-Flint.

This event will be held in the Happenings Room located on the first floor of the University Center on the University of Michigan-Flint campus. The community dialogue will begin at 5:30 pm and end at 7:00 pm.

***Light Refreshments will be served***
