About This Event

Stroudsburg is celebrating America's 250th birthday by honoring the people who make our community great.

America 250 Heroes Celebration Dinner is a special evening recognizing the unsung heroes of Stroudsburg Borough — the dedicated volunteers who give their time, energy, and heart to making our community a better place. This is their night.

The Event

Join us on Monday, July 20, 2026 — Pennsylvania Day at Stroudsburg High School for a celebratory dinner honoring our community's most dedicated volunteers. Three finalists will be recognized for their outstanding contributions, with one exceptional individual named Stroudsburg's Person of the Year.

The Awards

• Person of the Year — a cash prize awarded to their cause
• Runner-Up — a cash prize awarded to their cause
• All three finalists receive complimentary tickets for themselves and four guests

Nominate a Hero

Know someone who deserves to be recognized? Nominations are open! Eligible nominees must be unpaid volunteers with a minimum of 60 hours of service per year for at least one year. Submit your nomination through our online form.

Tickets

$35 per person — a beautiful evening of dinner, music, community, and celebration.
